Higor is a digital product designer and photographer based
in San Francisco. Originally from Rio de Janeiro, he’s worked
with companies in Brazil and the US, including Airbnb, Ford,
MJV Technology Innovation, and co-founded IO Project, a
storytelling and design agency.
At the core of his work lies the belief that design is
multi-disciplinary, human-centered, and experimental.
Higor combines UI/UX, product design, graphic design,
prototyping, branding, motion graphics, photography, and
technology to create comprehensive product strategies
across diverse platforms. Throughout his career, he has
contributed to multiple internal and external design
projects that have reached thousands of people on a
global scale. Through these experiences, Higor has
played a role in the transformative power of design, which
manifests in the creation of innovative content capable
of driving social change at scale.
Higor has a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication
from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
He also studied Graphic Design in a one-year program at Savannah
College of Art and Design, Savannah - Georgia.
His interests include design for social justice, the art of storytelling,
photography, traveling and a special fondness for any
culinary creations involving bananas.
